2025 Year in Review
2025 was a year of growth and beneficial change for RIPE. We welcomed new staff members, new directors to our board, and new coalition members alike. Spreading our roots allows us to ensure our mission is timely, relevant and impactful for all producers, across all geographies, commodities and operation sizes.

2025 Highlights
-
Water is one of the most important ingredients for biological life and is key for the survival of humans, plants and animals alike. It is of critical importance to protect and preserve our available freshwater resources. Agriculture is one of the top industries that uses the most water globally - after all, no water means no food. Regenerative agricultural practices can benefit the quality and quantity of this invaluable natural resource.
-
The agriculture industry is stressful - RIPE cares about producer livelihood and well-being. We have compiled some mental health resources for Rural America.
-
In Summer 2025, RIPE planted our Boots in the Soil across the United States, meeting with producers and producer groups to amplify our mission and advocate for producer compensation for voluntary conservation across rural America. We know that regenerative agriculture creates several benefits for the ecosystem and for human health alike - and we want to see producers be compensated for the benefits created by these voluntary conservation efforts.
