Environmental and Economic Research Intern

Nyla is a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she is pursuing a double major in Environmental Science and Public Policy. Currently based in the DC-Metropolitan Area, she is passionate about ecological justice and empowering youth through sustainability education.

Previously, Nyla interned at the Radix Ecological Center as an Ecological Justice Associate, focusing on farming, lower-school education, and sustainable projects. In addition to interning at RIPE, Nyla is involved with MASSPIRG on campus, a student-run non-profit advocacy group that addresses environmental, consumer, and civic engagement issues.
