Producer Profiles

Jason Lewis | L6 Farms LLC

“I like being involved in the industry and advocating for it. I like seeing changes throughout the season(s), and not doing the same thing all the time. Knowing that seasons are short and there is always an end point keeps me motivated to try new things.”

READ JASON’S STORY

Originally from Kearney, NE, Jason now lives and farms near Henderson, growing corn and soybeans. A graduate of Kansas State University and former employee of California Polytechnic State University (where he was an Assistant Professor of Horticulture), Jason returned to Nebraska after several years in California to farm near Henderson with his father-in-law. He is also involved in the Nebraska Corn Growers Association and the National Corn Growers Association, which he has supported through various roles over the past decade.

Jason deserves to be adequately compensated for the ecosystem services created by the voluntary conservation practices on his farmland - and so do the millions of other producers across the United States who practice stewardship of our land and natural resources.
