Producer Profiles

Shelby Beyer | Anchor Farm

“My goal is to provide food, first of all, for my family. That's context point number one. We are feeding ourselves. The second goal is to provide food, not just for your mouths and your guts, but for your brain and your eyes and your heart and your soul, for my community.”

Shelby is an innovator who doesn’t fit into any “box” - which can be a blessing and a curse. She is technically not a “new” farmer, despite her farm being less than ten years old.
